This qualification is recommended for learners who wish to understand basic first aid in the workplace and who also have access to a defibrillator.

To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 4 hours of learning.
Topics covered
These include be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is breathing normally, be able to manage an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally, know how to safely use an automated external defibrillator and be able to safely use an automated external defibrillator.

It may be that you are required to register as a training provider within the country itself. This qualification has been developed for anyone involved in the management of fire safety in the workplace. This could include managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.
This international qualification would be typically delivered through a 1-day training course (7 hours).
Topics covered include how fires are caused in the workplace, the fire triangle, hazards during or after a fire, means of escape, fire-fighting equipment and systems, employee and employer duties, fire risk assessments and the role of the fire wardens.
Can everybody get out in a potential fire? Are fire exits clear? Is there an assigned assembly point? Fire wardens are an integral part in everyone’s safety at work. Think ‘fire’ before one breaks out – understanding the risks & hazards and know how to manage a situation calmly should a fire ever start.
